CASE STUDY - LOKUM DEVELOPER
Come and see how we did it.
What was our goal?
To present — in an engaging, credible and emotionally resonant way — how Fortum's services and approach to collaboration translate into the real-world operations of the plants, factories and companies they work with in the B2B market, with a particular focus on larger manufacturing and service businesses.
What challenges did we face?
-
Preserving authenticity — so that the viewer genuinely believes in the emotions and motivations shared by the people on camera.
-
Weaving several narrative threads in parallel: the story of each company, what it does, what makes it unique — and connecting those threads to Fortum's offering and services.
-
Showing the collaboration from a human perspective. Numbers matter, but the real goal is for the viewer to trust that behind those numbers stand real people you can build long-term relationships with.
How did we achieve our goal?
Creative Idea:
-
We don't build interviews around rigid scripts. Instead, we hold longer, documentary-style conversations where our subjects feel relaxed and can speak in their own words — that's the key to authenticity.
-
We follow our subjects in their natural work environment. When someone walks through the plant and talks about the processes as they go, it becomes far more immersive and credible than a static interview or voice-over.
-
We commit to a documentary character with a cinematic finish — attention to framing, camera movement, lighting and sound, both on location and in interviews.
Actions:
-
A three-way online meeting to align on goals, ideas and creative direction.
-
A pre-production recce at the location, so the shoot day is thoroughly planned.
-
The shoot day itself — efficient, because everything is prepared in advance.
-
Editing, approvals and final delivery.
Perfect Finishing
In post-production, we paid particular attention to refining the planned transitions, selecting the ideal music, and adding subtle sound design to each scene.
