Thirty-five-year-old Maciek is losing faith in the meaning of life. He works from dawn to dusk to pay off his home loan. Wanting to take revenge on his dishonest employer, he takes away his car. He risks everything and sets off on a desperate journey without a plan. Across the country, preparations are underway to celebrate a certain anniversary. City Hall employee, thirty-five-year-old Magda, co-organises the events. At first very dedicated, over time she notices the hypocrisy of those closest to her. A confluence of events causes their paths to cross.​
